Job Description

  • The Senior-level Program Manager shall support routine Delta/Division Action Group (DAG) tasks
    including but not limited to business operations; planning, programming, budget, and execution (PPBE);
    acquisition reporting; strategic communication, lifecycle acquisition management; tasker management,
    research analysis and reporting; support Foreign Military Sales case development, provide support for
    infrastructure, human resources, and personnel management for the assigned team.
    Specific Duties:
  • Extracting program-specific information, assessments, analysis, and reviews, enabling program
    and technical acquisition artifacts to be integrated at the enterprise level. Use the combined
    program integrated master schedule to facilitate the management of cost, schedule, and
    technical performance of the program portfolio. Provide detailed analysis, quantifiable
    supporting documentation, and thorough justification for all research, reviews, and assessments
    performed, and include corrective action plans and recommendations to the Government.
    Develop Government reports and briefs on how to implement policies, conduct independent
    program assessments, and conduct risk assessments for the portfolio.
  • Support the development of the Program Objective Memorandum, Staffer Day preparations,
    Spring Program Reviews, Investment Budget Review, Program Management Reviews, Mid-year
    Execution Reviews, Baseline Execution Reviews, Vice-Commander’s Forum, Financial
    Management Reviews, Acquisition Mission Support, Business Management Reviews, and other
    budget execution activities and provide detailed, quantifiable documentation and thorough
    justification for assessment findings, corrective action plans, and recommendations.
  • Draft program overviews and executive summaries, encapsulate major program issues, gather
    program contract information, track program milestones and status, generate overviews of
    program health and ability to execute, assess program cost, schedule, and technical risks by
    segment and identify mitigation plans, consolidate, and status program manager identified cost,
    schedule, and technical efficiency initiatives, demonstrate understanding of the program’s
    current critical path, integrate and correlate program performance data with the program
    baseline, accurately interpret acquisition program baseline thresholds and compliance, verify
    program costs against the approved President’s Budget, track program baseline changes,
    accurately capture high-level program logistics, test and evaluation, and requirements readiness
    characteristics, and establish a program office point of contact list to accurately develop,
    maintain, and update acquisition reports to include, but not limited to, the Weekly Activity Report,
  • Monthly Acquisition Reports, Selected Acquisition Report, Defense Acquisition Executive
    Summary, Acquisition Program Baseline, supplemental reports for Acquisition Categories I, II, III,
    Middle Tier Acquisition (MTA) programs at the Directorate, and other related acquisition
    reporting documents.
  • Receive, document, generate, distribute, track, and close tasks at the Directorate level to theTo the
    maximum extent possible. Open, read, understand, and properly distribute tasks to the
    responsible for 3 letters, accordingly, supplying supporting references as available, or closing tasks
    when possible prior to distribution. Coordinate with 3-letter and Front Office personnel and
    track the status of all tasks, action items, suspense, and responses at a minimum from receipt
    through closure with the originator.
  • Research, draft, and edit articles, speeches, and testimony on the Directorate, organization
    missions, operations, and initiatives.
  • Coordinate correspondence between external audit agencies and the program offices.
    Job Requirements

Minimum Education & Certification(s):  BA/BS Degree Required, MA/MS Preferred, PMP Certification
Preferred

Minimum Yrs. Experience and/or Expertise: 10+ Years’ Experience Required, Experience with TMT
Preferred, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience

Clearance: Secret

Location: El Segundo, CA (Onsite; Hybrid/Remote not available)

Salary information below is a general guide only.  Salaries are commensurate with experience and
qualifications, as well as business and market considerations.

Salary Range: $170,000 – $190,000

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses
standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets, and fax
machines.
Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role, mostly sitting; however, some filing may be required.
This would require the ability to move files, or boxes with file data, open filing cabinets, and bend or
stand as necessary, the ability to lift up to 40lbs.
Mental Demands: Reading; communicate effectively (verbal and written); maintain emotional control
and professionalism.
